Much Ado Abouut Nothing
Shakespeares presentation of Beatrice and Benedick at the end of the play contrasts in many ways to the earlier appearances of the two characters. For example they both still have thei continuos banters with each other and also a false image which they live upto in public. However in Act5scene4 we witness changes that have occured in both charcters and it can be argued whether the two characters will ever recover their original sense
also strikes us at the is that Beatrice says very little at the end which is very unusual as she always has lots to say, and is admired for it. Her quiteness may suggest that she has now taken on the conventional role-which she has by marrying Benedick. Also the play ends before a marriage maybe suggesting that the are enjoying the freedom before marriage, as marriage is an order in itself presccribed by God.
