I was 32 years old. It was in October 2000, after years of not being on a horse, I decided to take lessons. My friend Janie competes in Team penning. Team penning is a sport, which you have two partners. One goes inside a heard of numbered cattle and the other two stay on the side. …to me. My daughter and I ride for pleasure, although I have been in the Livestock Show Ride, which was a wonderful experience and pleasure as well. I am now, being able to give my daughter something that was gave to me; the pleasure of horses, and the life of the outdoors. I am very grateful to Janie for giving me this opportunity, which enables my daughter and me to bond in a special way.
