…not the world. To Kill a Mockingbird is a great lesson of life, and the values of its main characters, especially Atticus, are well in advance on their time. I admire Atticus, because even though he is surrounded by racists and he knows that he might put himself into danger, he chooses to do the right thing and defend Tom Robinson. Not only is that man intelligent, wise and kind; he is also very courageous.
