What is your "identity" anyway? Is it your fingerprints on a page? Is it the color of your hair? To me, your identity is what separates you from everyone else. This could be your favorite food, the hand you write with, or your taste of poetry. It's hard to pin point someone's identity though, because everyone is different, and everyone has their own taste in clothes, music, and poetry. So when you ask me what …

…thing about people and their taste. Nobody usually likes one thing and only that one thing. People are complex and diverse. Well, I am too. So even if all the poems I included have a main thread to them, that doesn't mean that it's the same main thread running through me. Then again, maybe it is. But whatever the case, I think my anthology reflects a piece of me, and I am proud of it.
