I sighed as my cell door was open and the guard came in. The weekend had passed horribly slow, though now I was wishing it were longer as I was cuffed and led down the halls. I was now to be transferred to the federal prison, where I'd most likely miss the boredom. "Keep up!" The guard barked at me, my legs-in fact my whole body felt weak since I couldn't eat the horrible food
held out my hand. He sluggishly let a good amount of powder out onto my hand, and with my fingernail I made them into two bumps, sitting back on the bed. I didn't even think about it this time, not one bit of hesitation like before, both bumps went right up my nose and within a minute I was feeling wonderful again. The bed was comfortable, the uniform was comfortable, and my life was comfortable.
