Reform Judasim

Rabbi Kaufmann Kohler came up with the idea to hold a conference to formulate a statement on the meaning and purpose of Judaism in the modern world. Together with Issac Mayer Wise and Samuel Hirsh they invited nineteen other rabbis' to the conference. During the conference the rabbis passed a platform known as The Pittsburg Platform. …because of the so little number of members. The Reform Movement over recent decades has come forward with a series of new policies that break away from traditional Judaism. After examining all three platforms, the contents they hold and the provisions they set out it can be concluded that they each are different in essence, yet they all hold one prominent message, that God is the Creator of the world, and that God is incorporeal.
