Romanticism and Keats

Romanticism is an intellectual movement with origins dating in the late 18th century, featuring prominently in English literature. A group of poets emerged generating a new mood in literary objectives, casting off their predecessors' motives and instead creating a rich and forceful art; the main constituents of who comprise of: Wordsworth, Coleridge, Byron, Shelley and Keats. …themes which he explores are also extensively indicative of a Romantic poet, particularly his approach to imagination in 'Ode to Nightingale' and nature in 'To Autumn,' as well as his strong use of creative expression; physical experiences, mythology, evocative sensual pleasure and symbolism underpin this connection. Although not as highly acclaimed as a Romantic as Wordsworth, it is clear to the extent of which he is clearly one of the most typical Romantic poets.
