Street Smarts

As I roll out of bed one Saturday afternoon, I slowly crept my way to possibly the most gruesome and putrid bathroom on campus, located on the first floor of Luzerne Hall. When walking into the bathroom, my nose stung with the foul stench of urine and I could barely pick my feet up from the sticky, and sickening floor. …I reach my hand to the finger print covered chrome water knob. As I move my face down into the sink to drench myself with freezing cold water, no less than two inches from my face are facial hair left over from someone shaving earlier this morning that was not washed down the drain completely. I was quickly revolted by the things I saw, and left the bathroom with the absolute terror of returning again.
