…my stand against slavery. Once Scott moved into a free state I believe that he should be free from there and on. If his claims of false imprisonment were true, he should become free. In Illinois, there was no slavery and Scott was there so that would make him a free slave. He was able to stay there but his master brought him back to a slave state that he didn't want to be in.
