…first bestseller. It is a very drawn out Science Fiction book. I would call it Science Fiction because of the idea behind it, the world's first encounter with a biological alien weapon. I thought it was not one of his better books due to the very detailed description of every character but the plot was good. Crichton made a good start with this book in plot development but he continued on to write better books.
