The Future of the Iraqi government

The future of Iraq is in the hands of the U.S. and with that the U.S. has promised to assemble a democracy for the Iraqi people. But this will be a difficult task, it will not come as easily as it may seem. The U.S. cannot just democratize Iraq at gun point because a democracy cannot be forced on unwilling people. …in the right direction. Most of them have just called it quits and they returned back to they way they were before. As for the others they are stuck in the middle of a democracy and authoritarianism. It has been successful in specific places with similar cultural backgrounds like central Europe and Latin America. This suggests that culture plays a big part in creating a democracy and it isn't as easy as people may think.
