Now that the computer and the synthesizer have been united as one object enabling artists to interface them accordingly, and seamlessly, in the future perhaps a music listener will not be able to tell the difference between authentic acoustic sound or a synthesized emulation. But until then, the vast medium of electronic sound reproduction continues to grow at a more rapid rate than any other genre of music before it.
