…Chaucer story can show the Pardoner as one of these men. All three of them have let greed take them over and this is what happened to the Pardoner and his personality shows it. This story also shows his construction of life because everything that the Pardoner has been through can be related to any person. He just tries to show it on a smaller scale, but everyone can relate to it in the end.
