Most of the time, these debates have revolved around all kinds of assumptions and definitions. Philosophers will spend a lifetime arguing about the meaning of a word and never really get there. …existence deeply in his heart. The Universe is here, intelligent life is here, morality is here, and love is here. What is the cause? I think that the Cause of life must be a living Intelligence that itself is both moral and loving. When the Bible records, "In the beginning, God...," it makes known to us just such a First Cause. I truly believe that God exist and we are here with some higher purpose.
