…that it was his decision to make. The harder path made him who he is. There are many equally valid meanings to this poem. Robert Frost may have been trying to achieve a universal understanding. There is no judgement, no specificity, and no moral. There is simply a narrator who makes a decision in his journey that changes the direction of his life. It allows all readers from different experiences to relate to his poem.
