The idea of utopia in 1984 and Brave New World

…is more of a science fiction novel, is basically about uncontrollable scientific advancements. However, the political novel, 1984, a much more grimmer speculation of the future, focuses on the government's developed methods in keeping the citizens being governed in their power. Both novels portray a negative aspect towards utopia, in a sense that maybe the people can stop what is bound to happen in the future. The question is, "Will we be able to stop it?"
