The utility of Abraham and Sarah's maid, hagar, in Genesis.

In the bible, Hagar seems to be present only when she is needed. Yes, she is the servant of both Abraham and Sarah, but they treat her very poorly nonetheless. Their behavior towards her shows another side to the characters of Abraham and Sarah and also the personality of Hagar. …story, seems to be a person who progresses the events without actually being an important character. This shows some weakness on her part although it is easy to understand why she did not argue. For Abraham and Sarah, however, this particular story with Hagar shows a different side to them. It shows that even two of the most important characters in religious history have some negative aspects to them. Exactly like every other human being.
