…Holden describing Allie so excellently, him always thinking about Allie, him breaking all those windows in the garage, and him breaking his hand, I think that Holden is forever stuck in a state of adolescence. Holden mentions Allie a few more times throughout the book but none as significantly as this one. You can tell that he loved Allie and that he always will. Overall, James Bryan is absolutely right about Holden in my opinion.
