…the distance, a drawling, snarling beast is what I envisioned, as got closer the beast came into focus. This creature's dismal silhouette fell to the ground reveling a beaten & battered dog, the mangy mutt followed me as if I were a bone. A little ways more in the distance came the front of the dilapidated house, torn, tattered, water beaten, destroyed, were the only words that came to mind, to describe the huge white house.
