Utilitarianism The Main elements of Utilitarian moral philosophy are based upon "the greatest good of the greatest number". In any real situation, there are many people involved; they will all be affected in different ways; there is no reason why the "greatest number" should receive the "greatest good". Although there is in fact more utilitarian in the world then not. People live to see happiness without a doubt but happiness is exceptionally more joyous when
the most successful route. Kant believes that a good action is one which is done from good will, and a person who acts from good will is one who does the right thing because it is the right thing to do, not because that action will produce beneficial results. This is why I like Kantianism's effective method the best because it seems more reasonable to me. The other methods of reasoning seem selfish and unmoral.
