What is a Hero? Hero-1. In mythology and legend, a man, often of divine ancestry, who is endowed with great courage and strength, celebrated for his bold exploits, and favored by the gods. 2. A person noted for feats of courage or nobility of purpose, especially one who has risked or sacrificed his or her life I believe a hero is someone who people look up to and admire like a role model. …people find others to look up to: is it because we need someone to fill a gap to help as find our identities and place in life? I believe we look up to them to do that and so we can find a righteous figure to look up to even though that can be kind of hard to do with the media staring down any like hawks waiting for there prey to make a mistake.
