What is terrorism? In the past years we have all experienced or heard about some sort of attack that has made a huge impact on us. A few years ago, 9/11 caught us by surprise and had an overwhelming effect on us. …have is based on the characteristics of past terrorist attacks. I saw patterns and similarities with a number of attacks and as a result, I developed a definition by stating these characteristics. I also came up with this definition as a way of helping others understand why such acts of terror take place. I hope that after listing the traits I found terrorism to have I have succeeded in presenting an effective definition of terrorism.
