Are Athletes Good Role Models? What do you think about when you think of an athlete? I think of a person who is a hard dedicated worker and takes pride in his responsibility. One who would do nothing to lose his respect or his team's respect from fans. He follows rules made by his sports organization and everyday rules that apply to all of us. …guys are great guys. All good role models. So, can there be any athletes who can be good role models? I would think so. There is always going to be a bad apple in the bunch. The bad apple don't always make the others bad though. The good apples would be guys who can always be looked up to and be considered good role models. These would be people whose foot steps could be followed.
