In modern correctional institutions the United States holds the worlds largest incarceration rate. In recent years the percentage increase in women incarcerated has grown much faster. Thus causing increasing concerns in society for the problems of women and the problems of prisoners. Unfortunately these concerns have rarely been a focus.
