some book i read?

This story is about a ten year old boy named Lewis Barnevelt whose parents are killed in a car accident. It took place in 1948. Lewis has to move in with his Uncle Jonathan. Jonathan lived in New Zebedee, Michigan, Lewis had never met his uncle. Jonathan's house was a mansion. Lewis liked the house and his uncle. His uncle turned out to be a warlock. He could perform all sorts of tricks. Throughout the house …

…world. I think this was a good book because the author made it exiting until the last second by letting you ponder about what Mrs. Izzard would do with the clock. Maybe the title could have been a little more creative because the story was about Mrs. Izzard but the title made it seem as if the book was going to be about a clock.
